This is the long-awaited eighth album from the Hip Hop/Rock trio which was produced by Beastie Boys and mixed by Philippe Zdar. This album marks Mike “Mike D” Diamond, Adam “Ad Rock” Horovitz and Adam “MCA” Yauch’s first full-length effort since 2007′s Grammy-winning all-instrumental project, The Mix-Up. Entitled Still Shining, the piece contains commentaries from his mother and some of his closest friends. Most of the footage was shot on the day of his funeral. It was designed for his fans and supporters who knew of his accomplishments before February 2006 and those that have grown to appreciate his genius.
